In Memory of Sgt Phillip Howell

It is with deep sorrow that the City of
Columbiana recognizes the passing of Police Sergeant Phillip Howell.
Officer Howell passed away Saturday, April 29th after an extended
battle with cancer at the age of 37. Officer Howell has spent the
past sixteen years in dedicated service to the City of Columbiana. Officer Howell's influence on the City of Columbiana was fueled by his love for his job and the people of the community. He was a dedicated, caring officer who spent his career truly serving the residents of the City of Columbiana. He will be missed by all who knew him and his life serves as a testimony to one person's commitment to the true definition of service. Visitation will be Monday, May 1, at The First Baptist Church of Columbiana, on Main Street beginning at 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be held Tuesday, May 2, at 11:00 a.m., at Pine Lawn Gardens in Columbiana. We are requesting that instead of flowers, anyone wishing to honor Phillip do so by making a donation to the Phillip Howell Fund in care of M&F Bank, 106 East College Street Columbiana, Alabama 35051 |
